My sculptural pieces cover a range, utilizing both negative and positive spaces. Often they are geometric vessels made from slabs of clay, joined when leather-hard to form well defined lines. Other vessels are more curvaceous and organic. In either case, I may use carvings, bas-relief, and wheel thrown additions to finish the form.
